Sabye Bangkok hotel is located in an old community called "Ban Phan Tom" which is part of Rattanakosin Island. In the past this community is known for producing nielloware. Although at present nielloware is no longer made in this community because of its complicated production processes and its high costs there are still remains of a community that is peaceful surrounded by many cultural attractions such as the Grand Palace Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) Bowonniwet Vihara temple (Wat Bowonniwet Vihara) the National Museum the National Gallery Chao Fah road and other tourist attractions along Kao Sarn road. Sabye Bangkok hotel was once an old commercial building with 2 floors and 9 rooms. The structure was half concrete and half timber which is a popular Thai building style in the past. The building is now older than 80 years and once served as a nielloware workshop and a house to accomodate workers. Therefore there are still evidences of the past reflected through the floors the walls and the furiture that the workers and clerks had really used. The building was then renovated and changed into this hotel. Sabye Bangkok hotel provides bed and breakfast with wifi and smart TV in every room. Room service is also available.
