Join Jayson Augustyn-Clark for an insider's self guided audio tour of the history and architecture of Tulbagh's famously reconstructed Church Street.

The tour takes you on a loop to the end of Church Street and back along the main road, stopping in at all four museums along the way. Jayson will catch you up on Tulbagh's Dutch and British periods of occupation, and go into the development and significance of Cape Dutch architecture with its iconic gable. The South African Unionists are covered too, along with the Afrikaner Nationalists.

There will be opportunities to pause the tour so that you can take refreshments at one of the local restaurants or spend more time at one of the other sites.

Please note, you will need to purchase a ticket that grants access to the 4 museums on the tour. Tickets can be purchased at the Earthquake Museum, at the start of the tour.

The Southern route visits 6 farms during the day and captures the differences between the wine estates in Stellenbosch and departs Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and Sundays. We do the driving and you do the tasting. Farms visited are Neethlingshof, Van Ryn Brandy distillery, Spier, Haskell, Alto and Kleine Zalze.

Your Guide will assist you in understanding your e-bike and equipment. Then you will depart on your tour starting at the beautiful Le Pommier Wine Estate.

You will cycle on a safe picturesque farm road and visit 2 wine farms.

You will cycle your e-bike through the Banhoek Valley with the majestic Drakenstein and Jonkershoek Mountains in the background to a Wine Farm that is tucked away at the end of the valley. Here you will enjoy a wine tasting experience while soaking in the views.

After your wine tasting we will cycle toward our second stop to have another tasting or simply just enjoy the views.

There will be plenty of time for pictures and shopping!
