Nestled along the mangrove laced coral cliffs on the North-Eastern coast of Zanzibar, Azao Resort & Spa boasts spacious rooms with high ceilings and views of the gardens or ocean. The resort features 49 comfortably furnished rooms, including suites and villas, of which 20 interlead. The hotel is located on a cove with a small, private beach. Whilst this coast line is affected by tidal movement the property also has a great swimming pool with a swim up bar. There is also a resort shuttle to Kiwengwa beach club where water sports facilities are available, at extra charge. The airport and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Stone Town is just over an hour’s drive away.
This property is ideal for honeymooners, couples, families with older children and friends traveling together.
