Stretching just over a mile in length, Kuredu is one of the largest resort islands in the Maldives. With 3.5 km of beautiful white sandy beach, a magnificent lagoon, a reef with a shipwreck for snorkelling and three fresh water swimming pools overlooking the beach this is an outdoor paradise. This resort is loaded with restaurants and bars and has plenty of space for large amenities like a soccer field, golf course, two spas and of course, the three pools. Guests can navigate the mile-long island by foot, free shuttle, or rental bicycle. With so much space and variety, over-crowding and long queues are rarely a problem.
The atmosphere on the island varies by ‘area’ with the Sangu section being a little more romantic, while ‘O’ Resort caters more for families with teens and groups of friends. Only guests aged 12 years and older may be accommodated in the ‘O’ rooms and use the ‘O’ Resort swimming pool and ‘O’ Bar. Only guests aged 18 years and older may be accommodated in the Sangu Water Villas and the Sangu Honeymoon Suite.
